Job Description
Production Intern - Fall 2008 Semester

Urban Outfitters, Inc. is currently accepting applications for a Fall 2008 Production Intern.

Objective:
To follow the product from inception to approved product sample ensuring all stages of development are done according to the production schedule to meet assigned deadlines.

Job Skills:
-Management and communication skills to effectively work with merchants and vendors
-Organizational skills necessary to handle multiple projects and complete them within strict deadlines
-Problem solving and troubleshooting skills that allow for a proactive approach to the business
-Strong computer skills

Responsibilities:
To help Production Coordinators with the following:
-Time and Action Calendar
-Purchase Order Management
-WIP Maintenance

Requirements:
-Student in Junior or Senior year, working towards the completion of a Fashion related Bachelors degree
-Previous Production/Product Development internship experience is preferred
