Apparel Design Intern Los Angeles

Children's apparel company is seeking a design intern. We design and manufacture seasonal collections in downtown LA for the boutique market.

Must be an apparel design student or recent graduate with an interest in becoming an assistant designer. Should have experience with Photoshop and/or Ilustrator, Word and Excel. A good understanding of pattern making, cutting and sewing is preferable. Attention to detail is crucial. This is a 3-month internship. Must be available at least two days per week. This is an unpaid internship. You will receive training and gain experience in all areas of design, production, sales and administration.

Seeking intern for DMD Lab, an established fashion and lifestyle PR agency with offices in NY and LA. Looking for a star intern for our Downtown LA office/showroom who is smart, organized and driven and brings a great attitude a strong ideas. This is a paid position starting at ~15-20 hours/week, with potential to grow into a full-time position for the right team member. Intern compensation is $8/hour plus $5/day for parking.

Duties Include:
* Assist in pitching to fashion and lifestyle magazines & blogs
* Maintain and update lists
* Facilitate stylist and editorial pulls
* Scan and uploading of press clipping
* Support with daily activities
