JOB DESCRIPTION:

Beverly Center, is currently seeking a full time Guest Services Manager to oversee the shopping center’s Guest Services department. The primary goal of the position is to ensure that all guests receive a high level of quality service that is expected from a top tier shopping center. The Guest Services Manager will direct the day-to-day activities and development of 6-8 guest services personnel. The ideal applicant will possess a thorough knowledge of Los Angeles and the surrounding areas, as well as upcoming events, and will be able to handle all guest inquiries. RESPONSIBILITIES:

Communication
• Communicate effectively with mall management, tenants, and customers

Team Leadership

Administrative
• Accurately complete daily, weekly, and monthly reports and meet deadlines
• Daily reconciliation of gift card monies
• Create memos and informational pieces for staff
• Scheduling and payroll

Knowledge
• Knowledge of shopping center stores and restaurants and their product lines
• Knowledge of the trade area surrounding the shopping center, including current events
• Knowledge of area hotels, restaurants, and transportation systems

Technical/Operations
• Troubleshoot gift card and Ticketmaster programs and maintain equipment
• Knowledge of telephone system, and radios
• Inspection of strollers and wheel chairs for safe and proper operation

Marketing
• Support mall marketing initiatives
• Manage customer service staff participation in promotional activities
• Manage day to day operations of shopping center gift card program, including corporate orders as necessary

The Guest Services Manager must be available for a variety of shifts, including a mix of days, nights, and weekends. This position offers a salary commensurate with experience, as well as a competitive benefits package.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The role of the Merchandiser is to generate incremental volume by ensuring execution against DGUSA/Diageo’s summer priorities. Top accountabilities are utilizing the five Diageo Sales Drivers- Quality, Distribution, Visibility, Price, Promotion, and Persuasion (QDVP3,) to maximize program execution at retail.

GOALS:

The role will be a key component in ensuring activation of products at leading retail accounts. Finally, the position will pro-actively address account issues/needs and determine resource tools and sales drivers via timely communication.

SKILLS REQUIRED:

Consultative/strategic selling skills; concepts of the principles of shelf flow, merchandising techniques; quality trouble shooting; strong formal presentation; problem solving; ability to work within a team; planning/organizing; extremely positive attitude; highly organized and detailed; ability to work autonomously/needs little supervision; quick learner; excellent relationship builder. 2-3 years selling experience, preferably in the alcoholic beverage industry. An understanding of alcohol distribution (3 Tier distribution system, retail codes, etc.) would put you at an advantage. Undergraduate degree is preferred. Share analysis experience is a benefit.

Overall, knowledge of market information and merchandising standards are most critical. This is a physical position, which requires lifting up to 25 lbs, throwing cases, and building displays. Ability to build displays, fill shelves and “get hands dirty” will get you this job!! Must be 21 or over.

SOFTWARE:
Proficiency with space management software – i.e. ProSpace/Intercept/Apollo; proficiency in Microsoft office; excellent oral, written, and electronic communication skills.
