Job Description
Anthropologie is seeking Spring 2012 Display and Visual Merchandising Interns for our Roseville stores. Please stop by our Roseville location and speak with a Visual or Store Manager for details. Best time to stop by Monday through Friday between 10 am and 3 pm. For Internship consideration you must be currently enrolled in college at the time of your internship. Thank you.  Requirements:  Internships are available to qualified candidates enrolled in an accredited college and earning college credit. Internships are unpaid and are for college credit. For Intern consideration all candidates must currently in enrolled in college at the time of the internship.  Qualifications and Job Skills:  The successful Display Visual Intern will have a fine arts, applied arts, or design and architectural background. Installation experience is preferred. Interns are responsible for supporting the visual team with the successful implementation of all display elements within a store--windows, signage, platforms, shelf uppers and jewelry cases.  Interns must be highly creative, with a thorough understanding of the Anthropologie point of view, and a constant awareness of trends in fashion and home furnishings. Knowledge of various textiles and materials as well as familiarity with power tools, basic construction techniques, and installation is preferred. Anthropologie will provide the intern with an on-the-job learning experience that is appropriate to their degree and is in line with expectations of their school.  Responsibilities:  The intern must provide Anthropologie with the appropriate paperwork form their school, indicating requirements such as hours and expectations that must be met to earn college credit. It is the responsibility of the intern to ensure college internships requirements are met by the program.

Allure Fashion Accessories Internship (NY)


ALLURE FASHION ACCESSORIES INTERNSHIP
Allure is looking for several motivated interns for the spring semester. We need people to begin ASAP and work through May if possible. Interns will be working alongside all of the fashion edit team, specifically, within the Accessories department. We require a minimum of 2 full days a week. Tasks will include running errands, picking up accessories at showrooms, making copies, creating look boards, managing samples, etc.
Please note this is a FASHION internship and will not involve any writing.

Ellecomm PR Internship (Lafayette, CA)


A premier boutique public relations and marketing firm seeks part-time intern to assist in media relations, online publicity and events. This internship provides support to the marketing/PR executives, while exposing students to a wide variety of specific marketing and communications skills. 


We are currently looking for an intern to work on such projects as: fashion events, non-profits, restaurants, health/wellness and other clients in the lifestyle arena. This internship will allow students exposure to various elements of a marketing communications firm. The right intern will be motivated, organized and creative and will have skills, such as research, strong writing capabilities, familiarity with all Microsoft Office and Adobe products. 


Duties will include: research, copywriting, creative brainstorming, media scheduling, media list building, online marketing, social media and communication with vendors, clients and the media. Interns will be exposed to print, broadcast and online media with programs focused on clients in the lifestyle industry.  Qualified applicants should have coursework and /or demonstrated interest in one or more of the following fields: public relations, communications, business or marketing.


We are looking to fill four positions, each of which would be required to be available for 15-20 hours per week for either 4 or 6 months. APPLICANTS MUST BE ABLE TO RECEIVE COURSE CREDIT TO BE CONSIDERED.
