Fashion Blogger/Trend Forecasting Intern (Hollywood)

New, exciting consumer website and mobile app with a focus on fashion, food and lifestyle needs a dynamic, creative intern who has a passion for fashion and knowledge of Wordpress and HTML/CSS coding. This is an unpaid position with the potential for long-term hire. School credit is available.

Requirements
+ a love of fashion/shopping & keeping up with the latest trends
+ recognizes the importance of trends (what's coming in/what's on its way out)
+ keeps up to date with relevant fashion news & information
+ enthusiastic, hard-working
+ must be proactive, self-confident, self-motivated, team-oriented & positive

+ basic HTML/CSS coding knowledge (JavaScript is a plus)
+ experience with Photoshop & Illustrator (InDesign is a plus)
+ knowledge of how to work with Content Management Systems [CMS] (Wordpress is a huge plus)
+ understands & works well with social media platforms
+ ability to merchandise images in a way that makes sense & that is visually appealing

Jewelry Company Marketing and Sales Intern (LA)

A Los Angeles-based fashion accessories/jewelry company is looking for enthusiastic and creative Marketing & Sales interns to help grow the jewelry company and brand. We are currently in stores all over the US and internationally and seek to grow our presence with a powerful intern team. You will gain hands-on experience in marketing/public relations as we deal with many celebrity clients/stylists/editors, e-commerce, wholesale distribution, customer service of the fashion accessories industry. We are located in the Downtown LA jewelry district. FIDM students who are interested in applying, we are conveniently located just a few blocks away from your campus. This is a paid internship, so only serious, driven candidates will be considered.

Main responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 
- Updating line sheets, look books, and other sales materials
- Researching and reaching out to account leads
- Communicating with existing accounts and press
- Prepare buyer notes and purchase orders
- Strategize and execute newsletters for email distribution
- Monitor and creatively contribute to our social media accounts (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc.)
- Ecommerce shipping/handling
- Some Administrative duties
- Arrange photo shoots
- Organizing inventory and samples
- And if we feel you are a dedicated, team player, we will provide you with an opportunity(ies) for paid travel at major tradeshows. 

Requirements:
- Minimum two days a week
- Microsoft Office proficient (especially Excel)
- Photoshop/Illustrator/InDesign - a HUGE plus!
- Fashion or Jewelry experience - a HUGE plus!
- Professional, well-spoken, punctual, enthusiastic
- A love for fashion & accessories!!

RocksBox Fashion Operations Internship (SF)

Spend the summer with RocksBox! We're looking for a hard-working operations intern excited to get in on the ground floor. We are growing quickly every month, and are looking for someone to help with shipping: checking shipments in as received; sanitizing products; printing shipping labels; putting together boxes, and inventory management: weighing; photographing; and other categorization of inventory. This position is 20-40 hours a week, but applicant must be available to work mornings (Tuesday-Friday) every week. Potential to continue on part-time into the school year; compensation is $10/hour.

Dress for Success San Jose Internship

Dress for Success San Jose is a local non profit organization and an affiliate to Dress for Success Worldwide, the only international organization that addresses and fulfills the needs of low-income women who have left welfare and are interfacing with the challenges of entering the workforce. As a three part program at no costs to our clients, Dress for Success San Jose consists of a Suiting Program, Job Search Program and an employment retention program, known as the Professional Women's Group, in order to help women secure employment and advance their careers. 

Dress for Success San Jose is seeking a volunteer intern to serve 10 hours per week to our organization in our Milpitas office. 

Responsibilities include (but not limited to): 
1. Provide clients with quality service.
2. Increase partner program relationships and outreach.
3. Inventory Management.
4. Return telephone calls regarding donations, etc. 
5. Follow up with clients after 1st suiting appointments.
6. Complete documentation (letters, tax receipts, etc), as assigned.
7. Assist Dress for Success San Jose Director with various tasks, including events, trainings.
8. Assist w/ sorting clothes and organizing boutique as needed.
9. Administrative tasks as needed.

Qualifications:
• Working towards degree in Education, Social Work, Business, Marketing, Fashion, Non Profit or any other related field.
• Strong computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel.
• High level of organizational skills, communication skills.
• Ability to complete projects effectively in timely manner.

Work Schedule: 
• Position works on site at our office located at 560 Valley Way, Milpitas, CA
