Bling On A Budget is a new Showroom and Boutique venue located in Midtown, Sacramento.
1. During the early part of each week, the location serves as a private wholesale showroom open exclusively to the company's re-sellers, who consist predominantly of upscale boutiques located in the greater Sacramento and East Bay areas.
2. During the latter part of the week, the location serves as a retail boutique, open to the general public. Our merchandise categories include:
- Sterling silver jewelry.
- Designer inspired handbags and purses.
- Fashion brooches/ pins, rings, watches, and bracelets.
- Cosmetic and ID cases, and more!
The owner is a graduate of the J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University and has extensive marketing and small business experience. The wholesale affiliate of Bling On A Budget is River Wave Corporation, a California corporation.
Qualifications
We are seeking conscientious, fashion aware, outgoing people willing to implement their creativity. The internship would be ideal for a university or college student in Retail Merchandising, Marketing, Retail Management, and related fields. Availability for a minimum of 3 to 6 months and a minimum of 7-20 hours per week. Prior retail experience is desirable. Knowledge of current fashions and style is required.
Position description
Retail sales and marketing of fashion jewelry and boutique merchandise.
You will apply your Merchandising and Display skills to support in-store customer sales initiatives involving the merchandise categories listed above. You will work on outbound marketing and promotional campaigns in a hands-on, fast paced environment. You will help to conduct market research and execute marketing initiatives in a mentored, low risk environment. Here's your chance to gain valuable knowledge and practical experience in a flexible and fun setting.
