POLICIES AND EXPECTATIONS:

POSITION OVERVIEW:
Converse Inc. seeks bright, motivated individuals with strong multi-tasking abilities for Spring 12 internship opportunities within its PR/Communications department. Interns will be encouraged to participate in all aspects of our PR programming and be given substantive roles in activities that may include: media monitoring, sample trafficking, media relations and press events surrounding Converse footwear, apparel, accessories and corporate activities. COMPENSATION:

DURATION:

o Help with footwear and apparel editor/influencer product orders, seedings and mailings, including seasonal lookbook distribution, editor gifting, influencer product giveaways, processing orders, etc.
o Update and maintain media database and influencer database with current editorial and influencer contacts for both footwear and apparel collections.
o Assist at special events and press previews.
o General administrative duties including photo copying, department organization, press kit production, mailings, distribute magazines, expenses and mail distribution, etc.

A new lifestyle website for Christian teens (12 - 18) needs an experienced beauty blogger with a fresh, unique and entertaining voice. Our website is all about guiding teen girls to their best selves as proud Christians, embracing their real beauty and examining/critiquing media for appropriate/inappropriate messaging. Since our launch earlier this year, we've been growing in leaps and bounds. We need a blogger who know how to engage with readers - our most popular articles get over 100 comments! What we need:
