How to Apply

While career development and true cultural immersion are lifelong endeavors, we make the process of securing an international internship quick and easy. Six simple steps and you will be involved in an unforgettable experience that will truly give you an edge in life.

Step 1: Review the website and submit a Program Inquiry Form

Review the information for the program location you are interested and complete our brief program inquiry form. Don't worry - we won't kill your inbox with loads of nonsense!

Step 2: Program Proposal and Enrollment

Once we receive your inquiry, one of our dedicated program consultants will be in touch with you to discuss your goals for the program and conduct an eligibility review for the program. Once we have determined your eligibility for the program, we will send you a customized program proposal for you to share with your family, friends and/or faculty advisors. Your program consultant will then ask you to submit our online enrollment form and a copy of your updated resume so we can proceed to the next step in the enrollment process.

Step 3: Internship Sourcing and Placement Options

Once we have assessed your resume and program goals, we begin crafting the internship experience most suited to your expectations. Working with thousands of businesses worldwide we pride ourselves on matching interns with the best possible business, culturally and professionally.

Step 4: Interviewing

We typically conduct an interview with each participant whether on the phone prior to the program or in person once you have arrived in your host country. Many cultures (Italians, for example) will only conduct business face to face so it is often necessary to conduct the interview after you have arrived in country. In most cases this is more of a formality as we have already organized your placement beforehand.

Step 5: Internship Placement

Once your placement company is finalized, you will be assigned a dedicated supervisor who will be responsible for helping you assimilate to their corporate culture and define your specific tasks and responsibilities.

Step 6: Progress and Follow Up

We will be monitoring your progress for the duration of your internship (and language training, if applicable). We have local representatives to help with any issues that might arise and to ensure you are satisfied with your placement. Upon successful completion of your program, you will receive a statement of reference from your host company as well as copies of any evaluations completed by you, your advisor, and your employer.
