Boutique Jewelry line seeks intern to manage viral marketing campaign (Hollywood CA)

HELLO DRAMA is a small boutique jewelry company that is quickly expanding and is in search of motivated individuals to grow with our company. Our edgy designs have been featured on various rock stars such as The Veronicas, KISS, The Bravery and Macy Gray and we were recently featured in OK Magazine. We are looking for someone(s) who has an in depth knowledge using all social networking sites such as Facebook, Imeem, MySpace, YouTube, has an advanced social network themselves and can spread the HELLO DRAMA message via AIM, Blog Spots, message boards, communities sharing video files, Twitter, other Web 2.0 applications and generally all tastemaker, "in the know" communities. We are looking for someone(s) who is/are a social leader, creative, imaginative, highly organized, can multi-task, takes strong initiative, is self motivated, outgoing and extroverted, and most importantly DEPENDABLE. We are looking for someone who lives in the greater Los Angeles area and can meet up once a week to discuss progress and direction. This is a job that you can do at home. You should also have a genuine interest in jewelry/fashion, as the position could lead to a full-time position. Responsibilities would include: 1.Experience on popular websites, such as Facebook, YouTube, Flickr, MySpace and Digg; and/or with mobile applications, such as SMS, mobile web and media, etc. 2. Research and interact with major social networking sites as well as blogs, forums, and message boards. 3. Create and maintain dedicated pages on MySpace, Facebook, YouTube and other pertinent sites Qualifications: -Proficiency in excel, word and internet research, experience with Macromedia Dreamweaver is helpful but not required -Excellent writing and communication skills. -Minimum of 6 hours a week -Prior fashion and/or PR experience a plus. -Must be able to provide writing Samples -Must have their own computer and high speed internet access This is an unpaid internship with possibility to move up in the company as the company grows. We will participate in college credit programs (great for college credit !!!) Only serious applicants please. This is a flexible position which will allow you to often work from home but you will be responsible for tracking your efforts, maintain regular phone contact plus regular meetings at the office to discuss strategies and results.
