This is a rewarding, exciting position that requires considerable talent and ability--please don't waste our time, or yours.
WHO WE NEED
***Someone who is organized to able to juggle multiple tasks. This means compiling media lists, maintaining databases, and attending to general office administrative tasks in an orderly fashion.
***An excellent, proven writer with the ability to work independently and on-task. Our company demands that every piece of writing that comes out of our office be polished, creative, enticing, and poignant. We work on deadlines, so your work must be efficient and completed in a timely fashion.
***Someone who enjoys a small, busy office. This is a place with few employees and a lot of responsibility. We need someone with a gutsy, hands-on mindset, who isn't afraid to role up his/her sleeves.

You should come here with a savvy attitude - be willing to learn about new, emerging media outlets, be comfortable discussing trends and news stories, and be ready to contact editors and producers.
***Someone who has a sense of humor and a thick skin. Remember that the media world is a busy, frustrating place - this requires patience and wit, along with an aggressive, hungry approach to your work.
If you feel that you are this person, do not hesitate to apply as soon as you can. All applicants should include a professional resume (attached) and a small writing sample (also attached, although it can be anything - creative, non-fiction, or a news piece).
