Anthropologie is seeking Spring 2012 Display and Visual Merchandising Interns for our Roseville stores. Please stop by our Roseville location and speak with a Visual or Store Manager for details. Installation experience is preferred. Interns are responsible for supporting the visual team with the successful implementation of all display elements within a store--windows, signage, platforms, shelf uppers and jewelry cases.  Interns must be highly creative, with a thorough understanding of the Anthropologie point of view, and a constant awareness of trends in fashion and home furnishings. Knowledge of various textiles and materials as well as familiarity with power tools, basic construction techniques, and installation is preferred. Anthropologie will provide the intern with an on-the-job learning experience that is appropriate to their degree and is in line with expectations of their school.  Responsibilities:  The intern must provide Anthropologie with the appropriate paperwork form their school, indicating requirements such as hours and expectations that must be met to earn college credit. It is the responsibility of the intern to ensure college internships requirements are met by the program.

Ellecomm PR Internship (Lafayette, CA)


A premier boutique public relations and marketing firm seeks part-time intern to assist in media relations, online publicity and events. This internship provides support to the marketing/PR executives, while exposing students to a wide variety of specific marketing and communications skills. 


We are currently looking for an intern to work on such projects as: fashion events, non-profits, restaurants, health/wellness and other clients in the lifestyle arena. This internship will allow students exposure to various elements of a marketing communications firm. Starworks Group - Fashion PR Internship
STARWORKS GROUP INTERNSHIP PROGRAM 2011 - 2012

POLICIES AND EXPECTATIONS:

*Minimum 2-3 days/week commitment (10 AM - 6 PM each day)
**Days must be approved by your Starworks Supervisor
**Days must remain consistent from week to week

*More than 3 absences will result in immediate dismissal
**This includes sick days
**Your supervisor must be given AT LEAST 24-hours notice for any absences that are not the result of an emergency

*Reporting structure - you must immediately report to your assigned Starworks Supervisor as soon as you arrive at 10AM
**VIP interns will report to Dolores Martinez
**All errands that require an intern to leave the office must be approved by his/her supervisor
**All tasks not assigned by the department must first be approved by the supervisor

*At the end of each work day, a brief summary of tasks completed must be turned in to the intern's supervisor
**This should be done in an e-mail (not verbally), and should include a summary of any tasks that were NOT completed

CONVERSE SPRING 2012 PR INTERNSHIP
POSITION OVERVIEW:
Converse Inc. seeks bright, motivated individuals with strong multi-tasking abilities for Spring 12 internship opportunities within its PR/Communications department. Interns will be encouraged to participate in all aspects of our PR programming and be given substantive roles in activities that may include: media monitoring, sample trafficking, media relations and press events surrounding Converse footwear, apparel, accessories and corporate activities. Internship is located in New York City.

We are looking for individuals that can intern at minimum 3 days a week (9AM - 6PM) during the Spring semester. Only candidates with appropriate experience will be called in for interviews.

COMPENSATION:
Credit Only
**Interns must be able to receive school credit to participate in the Converse internship program.**

DURATION:
Spring internships begin in the end of December or beginning of January and end mid-late May.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
o Assist in trafficking footwear and apparel samples for all editorial, broadcast and celebrity requests - creating sample loan out sheets, bagging up samples, bringing shopping and garment bags to mailroom, checking in and restocking returned samples, etc.
o Help maintain and organize PR closet: organize footwear and apparel samples on racks and shelves, archive old samples, etc.
o Review magazines for editorial coverage. Including scanning and creating clips for all ran press credits and assist in archiving press clips.
o Help with footwear and apparel editor/influencer product orders, seedings and mailings, including seasonal lookbook distribution, editor gifting, influencer product giveaways, processing orders, etc.
o Update and maintain media database and influencer database with current editorial and influencer contacts for both footwear and apparel collections.
o Assist at special events and press previews.
o General administrative duties including photo copying, department organization, press kit production, mailings, distribute magazines, expenses and mail distribution, etc.
