San Francisco Internship

The San Francisco Internship Program provides students with an all-inclusive opportunity to intern in San Francisco while having the chance to explore all that the city has to offer. After officially enrolling, participants will work with a University of Dreams Participant Advisor regarding interview preparation and resume revision. Participants will then work with an Internship Coordinator for guaranteed internship placement in their industry of choice.

The Handwork Studio is an award winning kids' needle arts and fashion camp. Currently we are hiring individuals who are crafty, fun, enthusiastic and energetic to teach kids ages 5-16 this summer. We are seeking assistant counselors for each of our 4 locations and our 3 different programs. This is the perfect summer job for teachers, artists & students!

For our Handwork Camp (Narberth/Rosemont College/Chestnut Hill/Center City locations) you will need skills like; knitting, crocheting, embroidery, needle felting, machine sewing. The assistant counselor will be responsible for supporting the lead instructor, organizing and preparing for the day, helping the students, cleaning and closing. Candidates must be personable, creative, hard working, neat, ability to learn quickly, follow instructions and love working with kids.

Our Fashion Camp (Rosemont Location) & Machine Sewing Camp (Rosemont/Chestnut Hill/Center City) assistant counselors must have good understanding of garment construction & deconstruction, pattern reading/pattern making and have the ability to anticipate a student's needs and jump in and help.
