Applicant must be bright, swift, motivated and be willing to help on lots of projects at the same time. An interest in marketing, publicity & promotions a must! Excellent learning potential. College Credit Preferred! Intern Responsibilities -Assisting in the design and marketing department for various clients -Assisting in the design and production of business proposals, press kit materials -Help Assembling and distributing of e-mail newsletters -Writing news articles and tagging photo galleries -Internet research -Managing Facebook & MySpace Profiles -Maintaining and developing interesting content for websites -Training and expanding presence online through social networks, business networks, -blogs, message boards, and other forums for exposure Requirements -Highly assertive work ethic and commitment to completing tasks independently -Strong verbal and written communication skills -Strong organization skills, multitasking abilities and attention to detail -Creativity, sense of humor and a lighthearted disposition Favorable Skills, but not required -Web expertise (HTML, XML, content management, etc) -Graphic design experience (Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat, etc) -Publication or copywriting experience (writing, editing, or production) Compensation Non paid internship -- Small weekly reimbursement to help with transportation cost, access to high profile events, serious work experience, networking opportunities and a great work experience and portfolio builder.
