Carrie Amber Intimates, Inc. has been designing and manufacturing intimate apparel for 12 years. We are based in Los Angeles with a showroom in New York City. We are seeking interns who would like to work with our different teams: starting from trend forecasting to designing CADs to samples making and working and production to sales and marketing to meeting with our clients.

To be considered, you should have excellent communication skills both verbal and written, be comfortable speaking on the phone, be able to work independently as well as be a team player, be able to multi task, and be computer and internet savvy. The position could lead to a full-time position for someone genuinely interested in the numerous aspects of the fashion industry. Hire is considered only after an internship is complete. This is non-paying internship. We will compensate for travel expenses.



Responsibilities include:

- Pulling samples and preparing them for clients, media, and stylists

- Conducting research on trend reports

- Writing press materials and making press kits

- Assist with updating our Myspace, Facebook, and blogs

- Assist with email blasts and promotions

- Work with our PR rep

- Work with our sales and production team



Qualifications:

- Junior or senior with a 3.0 or higher or recent graduate

- Expert in Photoshop and Illustrator

- Proficiency in Excel, Word and internet research

- Excellent writing and communication skills

- Minimum of 15 hours a week (2-3 days flexible)

- Prior fashion experience a plus

- Must be able to provide writing samples

- Must be able to commit to 3 months

TRACE Magazine is a transculturally diverse magazine that now will be using the blog as a online publication because it will be published only quarterly (4 times a year).
