Carrie Amber Intimates, Inc. has been designing and manufacturing intimate apparel for 12 years. We are based in Los Angeles and we have our own factories in China and showroom in New York City. Our brands, Carrie Amber, Spreegirl, and Seven ‘til Midnight, have garnered accolades and rave reviews from both shoppers and buyers across the U.S. in department stores and high end specialty boutiques.
If you consider yourself to be a social leader, someone who is highly organized, fashionable, able to multi task, someone who takes initiative, and an outgoing/extroverted person, you might be a good fit with Carrie Amber.
To be considered, you should have excellent communication/people skills, be comfortable speaking on the phone, be able to work independently as well as be a team player, and be computer savvy. The position could lead to a full-time position for someone genuinely interested in the numerous aspects of the fashion industry. Hire is considered only after an internship is complete. We will compensate for travel expenses.
Responsibilities would include:
- Assisting our sales team with orders and customer relations
- Assisting our production team by organizing all aspects purchase orders and production
- Pulling samples and preparing them for clients and buyers
- Conducting research on trend reports
- Writing press materials and making press kits
Qualifications:
- Junior or senior with a 3.0 or higher or recent graduate
- Expert in Photoshop and Illustrator - Proficiency in Excel, Word and internet research
- Excellent writing and communication skills
- Minimum of 15 hours a week (2-3 days flexible)
- Prior fashion experience a plus
- Must be able to provide writing samples
