Artist / Graphics Designer Intern Position Available
This is an immediate position available until the end of November/mid December 2008. It is a huge opportunity to work on several projects within the fashion industry for our edgy, growing brand.
Job Description:
We need a graphics designer to help us in textile design, artwork for upcoming buckle collections, graphics for brand development, basic graphics for line sheets/catalogs and website maintenance.
This is a great, local opportunity for a student to add real work to their portfolio as well as gain experience working with clients’ specific needs, developing client relationships, working on projects, unleashing their creativity, and using their design skills in a hip, artsy environment.
There will be a lot of autonomy and the intern will be responsible for seeing projects through to completion. The intern will basically be in charge of all our graphics needs.
Requirements:
- Please have experience with image/photo manipulation programs such as Photoshop and Illustrator
- A great sense of design and fashion is a plus
- Illustration/Hand drawn skills a big plus
- Motivated
- Self Starter
- Creative
