Tee-zone.com is a web retailer specializing in the sale of fine designer tops, tees, and more for men and women. We are a small business, catering to an expansive clientele. We run out of our storefront located near SoHo: the epicenter of fashion retail.
Perfect Candidate: We are looking for a creative and innovative individual to join our styling/marketing team. As a member of our web staff you will be challenged and given an opportunity to make independent marketing decisions for a highly competitive website within the fashion world based on knowledge of our inventory and clientele. This is a great opportunity for a student interested in a behind the scenes look at the fashion industry. A love and knowledge of fashion styles, trends, and jargon are all musts. You must be computer proficient. Knowledge of on-line business and design programs are a plus.
Job responsibilities include but are not limited to: - forecasting trends by browsing media such as style magazines, fashion sites, blogs, etc. - incorporating the latest trends into creating categories and collections for upcoming and/or current seasons. - placing new items into appropriate collections and categories and updating current collections. - working with a stylist to choose outfits for homepage pictures - writing entries for our blog
*This is a part time position (about 15 hours per week) perfect for students; hours are negotiable and flexible.
