The following positions are described in detail below.

Sales Assistant (Internship) - 16-32 hrs/wk This is an internship position paying 10% in commission. As a relatively young business, an important part of our growth is in finding retailers, businesses and schools to purchase our products. Although prior sales experience is not required, it is advised that you are at least familiar with the challenges of being an excellent sales representative. Knowledge of Salesforce/Zoho & Quickbooks is a plus, though we could train you in a heartbeat.

Graphics/ Social Media (Internship) - 16-32 hrs/wk This is an unpaid internship position with the potential for paid employment after a probationary period. Your responsibility will be to update, manage and interact through facebook, youtube, twitter and flickr as well as various blogs and Web 2.0 properties. You will use social media to expand our fan and customer base as well as keep people informed. From the graphical standpoint, we need assistance in creating promotional materials, banners and other general graphics. Knowledge of Adobe CS is important. Part of this responsibility will be to occasionally create and update graphical elements for the new O'BON website and O'BON Catalog, both scheduled to launch on January 1st, 2010.

We are excited about building a strong team going into 2010 and would love to bring in dedicated, committed and intelligent individuals. Although these positions are intended for students based on the excellent educational experience and the hours/wk we seek, graduates are encouraged to apply. Degree information including name of University and dates of graduation would be a good addition to resumes/cover letters sent in.

Young graphics/fashion designer wanted (Upper East Side)

Date: 2009-11-29, 9:29PM EST

Reply to: job-wsneg-1487408144@craigslist.org

You must be an edgy graphics designer with a keen sense of commercial fashion preferable age 17-25. You MUST love old black and white films and photos and feel creative with them. I have started a brand of print designs based on vintage black and white photographs each with a theme we are interested in. The photos are often imperfect and low quality which we actually use artistically in the final design. We extend the theme of our graphics collection with text designs where we are free to let our minds wander.

Our initial prints are geared for young males ages 15-30. The themes of our graphics are all about attitude, have alot of meaning but are fun too. Market testing of our prints have so far been very encouraging.

If you feel you can be very creative with ageless beautiful old photographs so that a young male today can identify with... then please contact me with a link to your work. Note that I pay on a per project basis... which normally consists of a few designs along with color matching and presentation. You must also be a responsible person.

Thank you.

  • Compensation: Payment is on a project basis. If worked part time it can usually be completed in a couple of weeks
  • This is a part-time job.
  • This is an internship job
