Mandy Coon is looking for a motivated and hands-on intern to assist with Fall '10 production. The ideal candidate should have great follow-through and knowledge of the garment district. Candidates should have an understanding of patterns, construction techniques, and fabric types. Duties will include, but are not limited to: sourcing trims and fabrics, monitoring production progress at factories, assisting with pattern organization, analyzing cost of goods, and general errands. Individuals with a design background are encouraged to apply, as there is continuous interfacing and cross-over between the design and production departments.
We are looking for someone to begin as soon as possible.
Candidates should have an availability of at least 3 days per week.
Time Frame: now - Sept
