This is the perfect opportunity for someone looking to become immersed in the fast-paced world of digital media within a successful, entrepreneurial organization. Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
• Writing reviews and profiles of Clubs, Bars and Restaurants around the city
• Writing news stories related to the nightlife industry
• Interviewing DJs, club owners and other prominent nightlife figures
• Event updates via our admin system
• Gathering event and venue photos
• Assisting with other departments within the office if necessary
Qualifications and Expectations:
• Excellent research, writing, and communications skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Independent work habits requiring minimal supervision
• Proficiency in computing with working knowledge of Microsoft Office
We are looking for someone who will be able to commit to 3-5 full days per week in our New York office (Midtown East). This internship is ideal for anyone with an interest and knowledge of New York nightlife, and someone who would like to be involved with a fun, hard-working, successful media enterprise.
