Mwari Magazine is looking for creative, trendsetting, social media savvy interns to enhance and execute our Web 2.0. strategy. Candidates must have a proven understanding of Twitter, Facebook and Tumblr with the ability to generate interesting content that will captivate existing and new followers. Strong relationships with publicists preferred.

Mwari, which means “young woman” in Swahili, is the only lifestyle publication created especially for women of the African Diaspora aged 18-24. Each month Mwari presents readers with engaging stories about politics and world issues, the arts, economics, fashion, business and financial planning, philanthropy, college life and other areas that will develop them into well-rounded leaders of our global society. The digital edition of Mwari is scheduled to launch in Fall 2010.
