Lacoste Summer Marketing Intern (NY)

For students interested in fashion marketing, public relations and event planning. Students will participate in:

Marketing
o E-mail calendar updates
o Lacoste.com homepage and landing page images
o Copy for lacoste.com
o Direct mail analysis
o Email marketing analysis (ratio & revenue)

Advertising
Competitive research
Updating Co-op advertising collateral
Maintain and update advertising rate charts

Public Relations
Regular maintenance of sample closet
Tracking of product lending for stylists and magazine editors
Maintaining and updating editorial credit books
Maintaining and updating editorial and celebrity contacts
Assisting with packaging and sendout of celebrity sendouts
Maintaining and updating magazine and masthead database

Events
Assist in setup and execution of internal sales meeting
Assist in events with magazines & outside organizations, including planning & execution
Lacoste Spring 2011 Fashion show in Bryant Park
Assist in setup and execution of US Open Suite

q Proficient in EXCEL and WORD for Windows, FileMaker PRO a plus
q Extremely detail oriented and organized
q Self motivated and takes initiative
q Previous intern experience especially in marketing or a magazine is a plus
q Understanding of retail seasons and delivery flow a plus
q Excellent analytical and communication skills

The student MUST receive school credit, please do not apply if you cannot receive school credits.

This is an unpaid internship for start June 1st or sooner. You must be available minimum 3 full days a week.
