Fun! Creative Services Production Company in Venice seeks Publicity Interns to help us with our Music, Fashion, Lifestyle and Entertainment clients.
Do you spend a ton of time web surfing? Do you have your blog? We are looking for creative self starters with experience or interest in online and broadcast media. Prefer candidates with Public Relations, Communiations or Journalism concentration.
Duties include:
- Coordinating and assisting with the company's P.R. activities
- Writing/Editing press materials for broadcast media (TV, radio) and Web stories
- Database research and management
- Assisting publicists with audience reports
- Helping to come up with interesting story angles
- Various research projects
- Working with blogs, fan profiles
- Initiating new ideas and finding new media outlets
Intern must have or be
- Excellent communication skills and great phone etiquette
- Detail oriented
- Writing & editing skills
- Able to meet deadlines
- Strong internet research skills
- An interest in social media/blogging is a plus
*Able to work a minimum of 12 hours a week
*This internship is unpaid
