Marketing Interns (Fashion, Music, College Lifestyle) New York

AKB Media Group is looking for marketing interns with a strong interest in music, fashion, and/or college lifestyle.

Our marketing interns experience a broad range of assignments. Candidates should have knowledge of various social media tools, social networks, and popular blogs.

Duties will include (but are not limited to) helping with the development and implementation of marketing plans /campaigns for our entertainment clients, using social media tools to strengthen the AKB Media Group brand, and expanding our client network.

Though not a requirement, marketing intern candidates should ideally be pursuing marketing, fashion, and/or music industry degrees.

AKB Media Group interns are exposed to many facets of the entertainment industry and are actively involved in the company’s day-to-day operations. The internship program is designed to provide invaluable experiences and add value to the participant’s collegiate studies. THIS IS NOT an internship program that requires students to run errands and get coffee. Program participants are empowered and encouraged to treat the internship as the springboard to their professional careers.

PAY: All interns will receive a travel stipend with the potential for additional performance based compensation for specific assignments. School credit is available and we ask that between 8-20 hours a week (on- or off-site) be devoted to the internship. INTERNS MUST BE ELIGIBLE FOR COLLEGE CREDIT. .

AKB Media Group provides a diverse portfolio of services across a number of platforms (music, film, web publishing, and new media/marketing). In the past, we have served high profile clients such as Timbaland, Jimmy Douglass, Warner Music Group, and record label executive Kevin Liles in various capacities ranging from in-studio audio services to social media management.
