Agent R.E.D. International, Industry Renowned women’s and mens wholesale contemporary fashion showroom, representing globally established brands, is searching for energetic, ambitious, fashion loving sales/marketing and public relations interns. Candidate must possess exceptional oral and written communication skills, be able to effectively multi task, be detail oriented, and have a thirst to learn because of an interest in pursuing a career in the business/PR end of the fashion world. Interns will have the opportunity to participate in all activities from being the first to see and check in samples for the new Spring 2009 season, organizing/merchandising the samples in the showroom, assisting with appointments in the showroom and on location with fashion editors and retail clients, assisting in NY tradeshows, filing, faxing, and all else that goes into the daily functions of a busy sales/marketing office.
Interns have the opportunity to shadow recognized industry leaders. We are looking for 2 candidates to work at least two full days a week for in our sales/ marketing and our PR departments, TO START IMMEDIATELY. We work closely with exclusive retailers from ATRIUM in Soho to Nordstrom; from In Style and LUCKY to celebrity stylists.
