dELiA*s has a Part-Time Visual Merchandising Internship opportunity for a talented and motivated student to assist the Director of Visual Merchandising and Visual Merchandise Manager.
The position will be available immediately for at least 2 months with the possibility to be extended through the Spring 09 semester. This internship may be taken for credit or paid (if not for credit).
RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist in creating quality communication of visual direction from the Visual Merchandising Department to store line.
Execute special projects under tight deadlines.
QUALIFICATIONS
Student in Junior or Senior year; Fashion Merchandising major preferred.
Must be available 3 days a week (Tuesday, Weds, Thurs) from approximately 9:00 – 6:00
Proficient in InDesign and/or Illustrator
Knowledge of Macintosh applications preferred
Demonstrate a strong understanding of visual merchandising with an interest in the juniors market.
Able to multi-task
