Kenneth Cole Internship Program (NYC)

For over twenty-five years, Kenneth Cole Productions, Inc. has made a name for itself through the fusion of fashion and social activism. Using dynamic and often times controversial marketing campaigns, this true lifestyle brand for men and women has garnered phenomenal success in multiple brands: Kenneth Cole New York, Kenneth Cole Reaction, Unlisted, Tribeca, Bongo, Gentle Soles and Le Tigre. These footwear, handbag, apparel and accessory collections are sold in Kenneth Cole New York retail and company stores, department stores, specialty stores and online.

The mission of the Company’s Internship Program is to provide mentoring for students while they gain practical experience in their chosen field. There are 3 intern “seasons,” Fall, Spring, and Summer. Fall season runs from the beginning of September through December. Spring season runs from January through mid May. Summer season runs from end of May through August. Interns may work up to 5 days per week, but at least two full days are required in order to be eligible for the program.

Marketing & Advertising: Sample Closet, Account Management, Creative Services, Visual, Corporate Communications, Advertising/Media, Graphic Design
Wholesale:Product Development Footwear, Handbags, & Children’s, Sales, Merchandising, Production
Design Services: Accessories, Handbags, Footwear, Men’s & Women’s Apparel
Licensing: International & Domestic
Consumer Direct: Buying & Planning
Finance & Accounting (New Jersey Office only)
Information Technology(New Jersey Office only)
Human Resources(New York and New Jersey offices available)

Candidates must be active students with excellent communication and interpersonal skills and illustrate an attention to detail. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and the Internet is required.

*Although Internships are unpaid, we provide reimbursement for daily commuting expenses ($10/day maximum), a generous 50% merchandise discount allowance, school credit, and free meals at our on-site cafe.
