Fashion Intern (New York)

This position is mentored by the Fashion Assistant and our Senior Designers on all things related to design, production, pricing, sourcing, and witnesses a little bit of everything else under the sun, too. Love Brigade requires the following of our applicants for this specific position:
1. Powerful portfolio
2. Intuitive style, fashionable at all times (you will meet with clients and vendors!)
3. Well spoken and written
4. Energetic with a willingness to do whatever it takes
5. Ambition & timeliness
6. The vision of being the support and foundation of a strong and very busy team
7. Illustrator and patternmaking experience
8. The realization that wearing comfortable shoes are a necessity - many errands come with this position!
9. Minimum of 25 hours per week, for a six month term to witness the full fashion cycle. This includes a mandatory 10am-1pm meeting on Tuesdays with the remaining hours spread throughout the rest of the week. We can work around your schedule for the rest of the week, especially if you are in school.
10. A fairly flexible after-hours schedule to take part in LB activities and shows

Any of the following qualities are a plus, but are not required:
1. CAD experience
2. Photoshop skills
3. Formal fashion training in Europe (UK or Italy)
4. Photography and styling experience (for assistance purposes)
5. Knowledge of midtown/fabric shops/suppliers
6. Online data entry, design, or programming (Dreamweaver, php store, etc)
7. Accessory design experience or training
8. Graphic design experience or training
