Polly Ryerson Public Relations, LLC, located near Columbus Circle in New York City, is a boutique public relations agency focusing on clients in the fashion, beauty and lifestyle industries. PR PR is currently seeking a mature, professional intern who is interested in the fields of fashion and public relations. This internship is unpaid but can be for school credit.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
• Daily telephone/email contact with local and national press and vendors
• Maintain press contact database and client files
• Track press coverage and manage monthly press credits report
• Assist in distribution of press releases and client press kits/lookbooks
• Assist with research
• Assist with planning, production and execution of local PR events
• Managing VIP lists and celebrity outreach
• Assist with research
• Updating database
• Mailings
Required Skills
• Must be a junior or senior in college
• Must love fashion/style/beauty, be well versed in various components of the business including working knowledge of national magazines and their target audiences
• Excellent organizational skills
• Strong verbal and written communications skills, ability to deal with strong personalities while maintaining high degree of professionalism
• Must be able to work well under tight deadlines and in a fast paced environment with the ability to multi-task
• Proficiency creating and editing documents in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Positive, cheerful attitude
