Fashion Merchandising and Fashion Design Interns Wanted
We are a young women\’s contemporary fashion line located in the heart of the garment district. We are carried in over 200 specialty stores worldwide and have been featured on Good Morning America and in WWD, Elle, Style, etc.
We need a Fashion Design intern and a Fashion Merchandising intern. We are a small but fast growing company, so interns will have direct exposure to all aspects of the industry including production, merchandising, promotion, and events. Interns will be working very closely with the main designer and get hands on experience in the business.
Fashion Design Intern Requirements:
*Must be available at least 2 full week days or 1 full day and 2 partial days
*Must be a fashion design student
*Must have basic pattern making skills
*Knowledge of Photoshop and Illustrator a big plus
*Knowledge of Web PDM not necessary but a plus
Merchandising Intern Requirements:
*Must be available at least 2 full week days or 1 full day and 2 partial days
*Must have excellent phone, organizational and people skills
This is a for-credit internship but we will also provide letters of recommendation and a clothing allowance based on performance.
