Job Description:
We are currently auditioning the best and brightest college students to join our dynamic Talent Acquisition team as a College Recruiting Intern. Our University relations program focuses on building relationships with top universities while recruiting exceptional and passionate college talent and running a world class intern program.
Responsibilities:
* Partner with college recruiter to ensure a pipeline of candidates for internship and full-time opportunities at CBS Interactive across all of our domestic offices
* Assist in managing college contacts using Salesforce.com and ensure timely follow up
Events Planning:
* Participate in the strategy, planning and execution of university events (ex. career fairs, student group meetings, information sessions, on campus interviews)
* Use creativity and analytical skills to ensure best-in-class results
Research/Analytics:
* Assist in program-building research projects, creatively seek out and pursue a combination of methods to obtain data, make recommendations based on results
* Work with the college recruiter to design, interpret, and analyze reports
Special Projects:
* Contribute to and own projects as a member of the Talent Acquisition team
* Ensure successful completion of projects by contributing at meetings and taking on assignments
Skill and Experience Requirements:
* Combination of education and experience in event planning and/or project management
* Strong written and verbal communications skills
* Proficient in MS Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Word
* Prior experience creating and managing excel databases and using databases for reporting purposes
* Proven leadership skills
* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
* We are seeking a self-starter who has a genuine interest in the subject matter and is actively pursuing a career in human resources, recruiting and / or college recruiting
*Current college Junior or Senior
* 3.0 GPA
