Job Description:
SCORE! offers an unpaid Marketing Internship, open to rising juniors and seniors in college. Interns are required to be available to work at least 15 hours per week. Marketing Interns are focused on generating new leads for SCORE!. The Intern’s goal is to generate interest, secure events, and create introductions to increase brand name awareness. Intern is responsible for developing and maintaining partnerships, attending community and in-center events in order to increase traffic and generate quality membership leads for the SCORE! Center.

Responsibilities:
Develop and execute SCORE! marketing activities and local lead generation programs.
Assist in the development of SCORE! marketing plans under the supervision of the Marketing Manager and/or Center Director.
Initiate contact with customers in the community to build our brand and sell our product.
Seek out and attend community events, street fairs and forums.
Design and deliver presentations at PTA meetings, schools and community organizations.
Create partnerships with businesses, schools, families and participate in sidewalk marketing.
Provide support by scheduling meetings, confirming events, among other various administrative and support tasks.
Work closely with the management team to constantly improve lead quality.
Sell educational programs for SCORE! at marketing events and in the Center.
Participate in the delivery of service in the Center including parent communication and student instruction, as needed.

Requirements:
Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business or related degree (junior or senior status) with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
Self starter with a proven ability to learn quickly, work independently and exceed expectations in a performance driven environment
Strong interpersonal skills, able to build rapport and credibility with business/organization leaders and prospective members
Demonstrate strong communication skills, both oral and written
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle numerous details
Outstanding creative thinking and problem solving skills
Passion for marketing, customer service and business growth
Ability to travel within the local area and work evening and weekends
