Thrillist.com, the leading men's lifestyle newsletter, is seeking one Marketing Intern to work with our Director of Marketing. Thrillist internships are unpaid but structured to give the interns maximum exposure to online marketing strategy, with our goal being to provide the interns with solid experience that will quickly help them find paid work for their talents. We're looking for someone who will be able to come into the New York office at least one day per week.
Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
1. General office assistance (ordering supplies, furniture, and running errands)
2. Plan and assist with local edition launch parties
3. Plan and assist with a variety of online and offline marketing projects
4. Special projects, as needed
Qualifications and Expectations:
* Minimum commitment of 10-15 hours per week in Thrillist's NY Office (Soho area)
* Excellent research, writing and communications skills
* Excellent interpersonal skills
* Independent work style requiring minimal supervision
* Proficiency in computers with working knowledge of Microsoft Word as well as Internet research
* Internet and computer access
* Interest and knowledge of New York nightlife, fashion and culture is a plus
