Advertising Manager: Los Angeles Filming School (LA)

Company Description:
The Los Angeles Recording School and the Los Angeles Film School are conducting a search for a seasoned strategic Advertising Professional to drive our school-wide marketing and advertising campaigns. The Advertising Manager will oversee the co-op and individual campaigns for both schools. We are specifically in need of an advertising specialist with media buying experience in the Los Angeles DMA. The ideal candidate will have proven success in planning and buying ROI-driven media campaigns. Successful efforts will be measured by increased lead flow and ultimately increased enrollment at both schools.
Focus
Campaign management, specialized media buying, measured results

Responsibilities:
Responsible for the development and implementation of school-wide advertising and marketing campaigns using a portfolio of local, national and online strategies.
Strategize and deliver specific, measurable, action oriented campaigns .
Negotiate campaigns with media partners and execute the plans within the budget goals and performance metrics.
Use creative briefs to establish strategic, tactical and creative needs and guidelines for all campaigns.
Maintain project management timelines that keep all departments updated on critical deadlines.
Generate ongoing campaign improvements and redesigns with the creative team.
Manage budget tracking and reports on advertising and marketing performance.
Weekly campaign reporting and analysis.
Create and maintain a competitive analysis database.
Other projects and assignments as requested.

Requirements:
5 to 10 years marketing & advertising experience
Able to propose and create unique marketing opportunities and manage them from concept to completion.
Possess established local media relationships
Able to generate results oriented marketing and advertising campaigns.
Must be able to create marketing plans, presentations and RFP’s.
Direct Response experience is a plus

Skills:
Strong negotiation skills.
Strong written and oral communication skills
Must be proficient with MS Office programs.
Comprehensive media buying experience is preferred: online, print, broadcast, direct marketing, etc.

Education:
Bachelor’s degree in marketing/business or relevant experience required.
