We are currently seeking a Stockroom Attendant. This position is required for coverage on 1st shift (6:00 am to 2:30 pm).
Main Responsibilities:
· Insure inventory integrity and security using approved operating procedures.
· Audit/validate incoming stockroom material for ID, count and damage.
· Process incoming material using automated control system
· Locate and store material in a disciplined and systematic fashion.
· Deliver material needed to production via kits or other parts issued.
· Maintain high level of inventory accuracy through cycle-counting /validation techniques.
Ideal Candidate:
· Must be logical and has prudent judgment (use of resources and managing priorities.
· Attention to detail and high standard of accuracy.
· Excellent math competency and ability to use computer tools.
· Must speak/read English.
Education:
High School diploma or equivalent. Certificate or training program preferred.
Job Experience:
1 year experience in contract manufacturing warehouse/stockroom or similar environment.
Physical Requirement:
Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.
Work Environment:
The work environment is typical of a manufacturing setting where hazardous materials may be present.
