Job Responsibilities:
• Increasing revenues by following up on pre-qualified leads though home appointments in order to sell high end fence, gate, and ornamental doors to residential homeowners.
• Listen to customers needs and develop detailed proposals within a timely manner to increase sales opportunities and increase closing ratios.
• Following up on delivered proposals to address customers’ concerns and receive orders.
• Participate in trade shows and networking functions to promote the company and its products and services.
Requirements:
• High school diploma with some post-secondary training in Sales & Marketing
• Preferred: 4 year business degree with marketing discipline.
Experience:
• Four (4) plus year sales experience in home selling specializing in custom products to meet individuals’ specific needs.
• Qualified candidates will have 2-4 years of experience in sales/estimating steel fabrication and a basic understanding of electrical and mechanical services. Painting experience a plus but not necessary
• Successful candidates will possess a thorough understanding of the manufacturing process, materials and costing methods, have strong organizational skills and be capable of working independently as well as part of a team.
Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:
• Track record of developing and increasing sales and a customer base through visiting homeowners who have already been pre-qualified and have pre-set appointments.
• Must be independent and self-motivated and have a winning drive to exceed personal and company goals.
• Strong understanding of customer service in order to diagnose customer’s needs and offer solutions in a consultative manner.
• Ability to learn and discuss all products, up-sell related products, services, and maintain exceptional customer service.
• Knowledgeable of different security equipment, components, ornamental gate design and quality.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced customer demanding environment.
• Ability to efficiently demonstrate the important sales points of each in an accurate and professional manner.
• Must be comfortable in working at trade shows and various networking functions to promote company products.
• Must be comfortable in preparing and delivering presentations that highlight the benefits and services of the company in a public speaking forum.
