Dana-Maxx Internship (New York City)

Women's RTW company, Dana-Maxx (www.dana-maxx.com), is looking for design and sales interns who can begin in May. The internship is approximately 1-3 days per week, for 3-4 months, and is a non-paid internship. Design interns have the opportunity to potentially grow as an assistant to the designer and sales interns have the opportunity to receive commission for sales.

Design internship responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
-Assisting the designer directly
-Attending meetings
-Helping with fittings
-Assist at model castings
-Styling at photoshoots
-Setting up meetings with vendors
-Picking up fabric and notions
-Attending private events
-Assisting at company events

Sales internship responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
-Attend meetings with the designer
-Contacting and researching buyers
-Setting up meetings with buyers and customers
-Attending events and trunk shows
-Assisting the designer in meetings with customers
-Securing showroom appointments and meeting with buyers
-Going to stores directly and meeting with buyers
-Attending private events
-Assisting at company events
