Spring 2010 Internship - Visual (Vernon, CA)

Overview:
Lucky Brand is a rapidly growing brand offering apparel, accessories, fragrances, and jewelry for women, men and children. Established in 1990, Lucky Brand has become one of America's favorite denim brands with a sense of humor evident in its trademark "Lucky You" fly. Lucky Brand products are sold through its own 220 retail and outlet stores within the US, its company website (www.luckybrand.com), select group of high-end department and better specialty stores, and through international retail partners in Asia, Middle East, and Canada.

The Lucky Brand Spring 2010 Internship Program is intended to help acclimate Junior and Senior level university/college students to our company culture, build on their creativity, and allow them the best opportunity to get to know Lucky Brand. This program is designed to identify, develop and potentially hire top entry level talent.

Our Spring 2010 Internship Program is part time and for-credit ONLY. This opportunity is available in our Los Angeles, CA based headquarters.

Responsibilities:
The Visual intern will assist and coordinate visual elements, which include digital logs, hardcopy and / or product for retail and wholesale.

* Archive visual information (hard copy and digital)
* Organize and maintain product samples
* Pack and move product boxes in-between offices
* Assist on monthly retail box set (Photoshop and typing)
* Assist in the pre and post box set set-ups

Qualifications:
* Organized
* Time management
* Can adjust to change quickly
* Able to source visual props
* Proficient in Microsoft Office
* Basic knowledge in Abode programs(photoshop / indesign / illustratior)

Minimum Qualifications:

* Currently enrolled in an accredited college/university
* You must be eligible to receive credit for this internship from your college/university
* You must be a junior or senior level student
* Past retail or fashion industry experience is preferred but not required
