Spring 2010 Internship - Marketing (Vernon, CA)

Overview:
Lucky Brand is a rapidly growing brand offering apparel, accessories, fragrances, and jewelry for women, men and children. Established in 1990, Lucky Brand has become one of America's favorite denim brands with a sense of humor evident in its trademark "Lucky You" fly. Lucky Brand products are sold through its own 220 retail and outlet stores within the US, its company website (www.luckybrand.com), select group of high-end department and better specialty stores, and through international retail partners in Asia, Middle East, and Canada.

The Lucky Brand Spring 2010 Internship Program is intended to help acclimate Junior and Senior level university/college students to our company culture, build on their creativity, and allow them the best opportunity to get to know Lucky Brand. This program is designed to identify, develop and potentially hire top entry level talent.

Our Spring 2010 Internship Program is part time and for-credit ONLY. This opportunity is available in our Los Angeles, CA based headquarters.

Responsibilities:
The department works on day-to-day marketing and PR activities including publicity reports, writing text for press releases and letters to internal and external vendors as well as putting together press kits. In addition to long term project planning and execution.

Qualifications:
* Business Administration or Communications student; specific interest in the fashion industry is a must
* Basic Microsoft applications, Mac familiarity, Illustrator and Photoshop experience is a plus
* Can do team player attitude
* Ability to prioritize duties and be proactive
* Organization and keen eye to detail
* Willingness to work in a fast paced, high-energy environment

Minimum Qualifications:

* Currently enrolled in an accredited college/university
* You must be eligible to receive credit for this internship from your college/university
* You must be a junior or senior level student
* Past retail or fashion industry experience is preferred but not required
