A Fremont based insurance brokerage company is offering an opportunity for an intern, part-time or freelance graphics designer to join its design team and work on in-house projects as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Excellent creative and graphic design skills
-- Ability to multitask and meet deadlines
- Website Design, HTML, Flash and Programming skills a plus
- Very good skill in Photoshop, Indesign, Illustrator, web editors (Dreamweaver, GoLive, FrontPage…)
- Graphic design (print and web) portfolio that displays an understanding of user-centered and functional website design
- Must be able to work independently with little supervision, as well as in a team.
TASKS:
- Creating layouts for newsletters, web, brochures and other print pieces.
- Contributing ideas and design artwork to the overall brief.
- Working well in a team, with printers, copywriters, account executives, and marketing specialists.
- Coordinating for production of print pieces.
- Creating layouts for websites and digital newsletters or email advertising.
- Producing accurate and high quality work.
- Creating promotional displays including signs and signage systems for public exhibition.
- Developing design briefs by gathering information and data to clarify design issues.
- Thinking creatively to produce new ideas.
- Using innovation to redefine a design brief and meet the constraints of cost, time and client.
