Gap Undergrad Summer Internships

This summer, Gap Inc. will have a limited number of undergraduate internships possibly available in Communication/Public Relations, Finance, Human Resources, Information Technology, Inventory Management, Merchandising, Merchandise Production, Real Estate/Construction, and Store Operations.

Requirements for All Applicants for Undergraduate Internships

Undergraduate degree in progress — must be in between junior and senior year or have one quarter or semester left to complete in the fall
GPA of 3.0 or above
Strong analytical, research and problem-solving abilities
Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and ability to learn technical applications and processes quickly
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
Ability to understand, or quickly grasp, customer priorities and terminology
Effective oral and written communication skills
Able to organize, prioritize and manage time
Customer-service oriented
Results-oriented
Self-starter capable of operating with little supervision
Excellent attention to detail
Previous retail experience preferred but not required

Once hired, all summer interns will be required to:

Work effectively and efficiently as a member of a cross-functional departmental team
Participate in special projects, as assigned, and help drive results
Participate in cross-functional meetings, sharing analysis and recommendations
Prepare presentation documents and assist in presenting findings to all levels of management
Develop and maintain good working relationships with customers, vendors and business partners
