We're an online city guide and lifestyle magazine for New York. Our site covers exclusive events (e.g. Fashion Week shows, album listening parties) in the fashion, art, and entertainment industries. We'll give you access to these premier events and parties, where you will connect with industry movers and shakers. Along with the connections you'll make, you'll enjoy all these events' free perks (food, drink, gift bags).
You're a trendy socializer who loves New York's fashion, art, and entertainment scenes. You'll receive a weekly stipend to attend and review highly-touted restaurants, both the newly opened ones and the popular stand-bys. And you'll influence the development of the site as you will test, suggest, and blog about new features. Not to mention that you can receive college credit and references.
Responsibilities
-Write blog entries covering Fashion Week and other exclusive events
-Write blog entries about the site's content and features
-Take photos and promote the site at events & industry parties
-Visit and review restaurants
-Update the site's information database
-Test current and upcoming site features; suggest new features
-Assist with the management of the site's sponsored parties
Required Abilities/Skills
-Ability to work remotely
-Knowledge of MS Office & Excel
-Knowledge of HTML
-Knowledge of Photoshop/MS Paint
-Event planning/management skills
