BML Memo is looking for vibrant, talented, sophisticated aspiring high fashion editors and still life, digital stylists with a discerning eye for its Fashion Department. This is a virtual position, where you will work to meet deadlines on your own time, from the comfort of wherever your laptop may take you. We are a virtual office with editors and correspondents from all over the world. Interns will work closely with the Creative Director to learn about the publishing world, fashion industry and to help develop and refine their editorial skills.
Responsibilities include:
Being part of major S/S and F/W fashion issues and guides with trend reports, style pages, designers interviews and profiles. Creating style stories and Polyvore-like style collages. Knowing how to present, identify and create style stories around trends. Research for fashion stories, scouring online stores, calling designers, writing news reports.
Please send a short bio 600 words or less with your interests, strengths and qualifications. Interns and Assistants will be paid for their work on a per story, per project basis. Please do not send resume until requested.
