ART/MULTIMEDIA INTERNSHIP with The San Francisco Bay Guardian: An independent, locally owned and edited newspaper
The Art Department of the SF Bay Guardian is looking for a motivated, self-starting intern. The position will offer the opportunity to learn about the visual and creative side of making a newspaper.
What we offer
The internship will offer the opportunity to learn about photography, web/multimedia design, and newspaper production. The intern will be trained in basic print design, shooting editorial photos, prepping images for the web, and creating multimedia content for the web.
What we expect
The Art/Multimedia Intern must be available 2 business days per week (Tuesdays as well as either Thursdays or Fridays) and the internship lasts from late May to mid-September. The internship is voluntary and unsalaried. InDesign and Photoshop knowledge as well as prior photography experience a plus.
