Asset Artist Intern
Foster City, CA

Job Description:
Under the direction of the PSN Creative Manager, the Asset Artist Intern is responsible for creating promotional images, banner ads, themes, and other creative digital assets for the PSN Stores on the PS3, PSP, and PSP Media Manager, as well as other areas of the PlayStation® Network.

Principle Duties / Responsibilities:

  • Follows process rules and deadlines for creative assets as they move through the production pipeline, ensuring timely delivery of assets to the PSN Content Operations teams.
  • Actively participates in the creation of assets for weekly publishes, including the creation of promotional images, themes, and any other requested creative.
  • Follows design standards, and participates in the evolution of these standards to meet dynamic business needs.

Required Knowledge / Skills:

  • Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator required. (Adobe CS4)
  • Strong Design skills and knowledge.
  • Able to take direction and complete tasks on a weekly basis.
  • Must be able to work both independently and as a team player on tight turnarounds with good organizational skills.
  • Must be a problem solver.

Qualifications:

  • Must be a Graphic Design student
