Founders of a new accessory line are looking for hard working, passionate, independent, fashion savvy interns who would love to work hand in hand with them and be a part of their creative and entrepreneurial venture.
This is a non paid position but this opportunity offers a vast experience in different areas of the fashion industry.
For the fashion pr & marketing internship the Responsibilities are:
* Assist partners with their daily activities
* Research & outreach to fashion blogs
* Manage social web interactions including Twitter, & Facebook
* Help maintain and update contact & press lists
* Writing, interacting, and pitching to fashion websites, Blogs and media
* Facilitate Stylist and Editorial pulls
* Coordinate returns
* Scan and uploading of press
* Research celebrity blogs & websites for placement pics
Assist in event planning/coordination and individual brand projects
Qualifications:
* Proficient on Mac , PC MS office and outlook.
* Pay attention to details and highly organized
* Strong written and oral communication skills, including phone etiquette
* Strong knowledge and familiarity of Fashion and lifestyle blogs
* Strong knowledge of social networking sites
* Work effectively in a creative team environment
* Outgoing, positive, honest, loyal and dependable
* Must be able to take initiative on projects and work independently
* Proficiency with Photoshop & Illustrator is a plus
For the graphic design internship the responsibilities are:
*maintain our original website
*Assist with branding and aesthetics of website and other platforms
*Manipulate media content online
*create all visual tools for our marketing ( flyers, display layouts, invitations etc)
Qualifications:
*Website development experience (HTML, CSS, Flash, etc) a plus
*Knowledge of graphic design software (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc)
*Programming knowledge a plus
*Reliable and detail oriented
*Able to commit to a minimum 2 day per week schedule
