Marie Claire Magazine is currently seeking interns for Summer/Fall 2010 in its advertising department. Interns will support current assistant and the Southwest advertising director. Qualified candidates will have the opportunity to learn about ad sales, rates, and acquire a general knowledge of how a magazine’s ad department operates. They will also maintain the client database; assist in issue mailings, gain knowledge of how clients are acquired and relationships built, as well as performing basic administrative duties. Interns will gain invaluable work experience with a nationally recognized company. Internships are unpaid and require school credit. Please note that this is NOT an editorial internship. Interested applicants should send a cover letter and a copy of their resume.
