Fashion Assistant/Pattern Maker/Production/Archive Coordinator/Social Media Interns, Eagle Rock

A high end, LA based fashion designer is building her team for 2010 and wants to meet like-minded fashionistas out there who are passionate, reliable, committed and eager to learn. We are a tight knit, dynamic, high-end fashion team with a focus on contemporary women's apparel. We will be holding interviews the first week of January, 2010 to fill our 3-6 month Spring Intern positions. Please note that these internships are UNPAID, however we are more than happy to provide school credit in exchange, with potential for long term opportunities within the company for the most reliable and committed candidates. We are enlisting the help of a few good interns for the following positions:

- 2 fashion assistant interns: Must be exceptionally organized and reliable with a thirst to learn everything about fashion design firsthand. The people selected for this position will be the right hand of the designer, wearing multiple hats and learn a great deal about the fashion industry and fashion design. Time requirement: up to 20 hours / week over 3 months with a potential for long term.

- 1 pattern maker intern: Must have some knowledge about pattern making and would like to learn more. Time requirement: up to 15 hours / week over 3+ months with potential for long term.

- 2 production interns: Must know how to sew, possess strong hand detail, be organized, and have a great sense of style. Time requirement: up to 15 hours / week over 3+ months with potential for long term.

- 1 clothing archive coordinator intern: This position is perfect for someone who wants to become a stylist. Time requirement: up to 12 hours / week over 3+ months with potential for long term.

- 1 graphic design intern: Must have a strong portfolio and keen eye for design and detail, with an interest to work in fashion. Time requirement: up to 15 hours / week for 3 months with potential for long term.

- 1 video editor intern: Must have a strong video portfolio and creative conception. Time requirement will be up to 12 hours / week for 3 months.

- 2 social media interns: Must eat sleep and breathe Twitter and blogging, which means your personal Twitter or blog have a lot of followers. Time requirement will be up to 15 hours / week for 3 months.
