Responsibilities:
Hands-on training that includes shadowing designers and day to day activities.
Interns will have an opportunity to:
-Assist in the product design and development process
-Assist with fashion shows
-Prepare the design room used for presentations
-Develop libraries of information
Maintain and organize the design area
Requirements: Students currently enrolled in a full-time university design program or related discipline will be eligible for this internship
Qualified candidates will be selected based on the following criteria:
-Strong interest in Womenswear Design
-Strong sense of the Polo Ralph Lauren aesthetic
-Excellent portfolio; demonstration of original and creative work
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to handle fast-paced environment
This is an unpaid internship offering academic credit.
