POSITION: ONLINE MARKETING INTERNSHIP
This immediate online marketing internship offers an opportunity to learn about all facets of online marketing including search engine optimization (SEO), search engine marketing, affiliate marketing, shopping engines and social media marketing.
The Marketing Intern will work closely with the Marketing & PR Coordinator to assist with various Marketing & PR related projects including:
• Online advertising/search engine optimization – developing search terms
• Assist with PR initiatives including coordinating with fashion & other media
• Research & write content for the website
• Copywriting support
• Blog and affiliate research
• Help manage social media properties (Facebook, MySpace, Twitter, StyleHive, Kaboodle, This Next, etc.)
• Event planning & support for local marketing buzz events
• Assist with new brands launch including product information, descriptions & other attributes
• Assist with creation of Fall-Winter Marketing Plan
Qualifications:
• 20-30 hours per week for a minimum of 8 weeks
• Full Time (40 hr week) internships are also available, depending on qualifications
• Internet savvy & familiar with major social networking sites, blogs, twitter
• Familiar with search engine marketing preferred
• Strong Verbal & Written Communication
• Organized with attention to detail
• Interest in Internet/Online Marketing
Internship will be part-time or full-time and if seeking college credits, will work with college. This is an Unpaid Internship.
